Odd Objects? Help

    Looks like a dead body that has been chewed on by the snails.

    Nothing is missing, just small white balls in an almost jelly-like substance.

    I would guess either snail eggs or food pellets that have grown a fungus on them. Kinda hard to see in the photo.

    Give it some time and see if the snails start actually eating it or not! Yeah, could be a dead body...maybe do an ammonia test just to be sure/safe. Or just get rid of it altogether.

    That IS weird stuff...looks kinda like Cool Whip or something! lol Maybe some type of white algae...? And I've seen and had like, pretty much ALL types of algae. Sorry...dunno, ya got me...... :-/

    We figured it out, some snail eggs we were unaware of had fallen in from across the tank :)
