i was watching my Endlers when i noticed that only two of them have a fin on top. Is this a normal thing or...

Hmm, never kept endlers, so I am not certain.
Does it look like the fin was there at some point? It may just be a defect, as long as the fish is swimming and eating, it's fine.

It is smooth, no sign of a scar. This one seems to be a bit ignored by the others though, but he’s acting fine.

I assume that it's born without the dorsal fin. Generally, the dorsal fin is not an important fin to the fish. This fish will do just fine without it.

Turns out, he just had it tucked down, it was just the angle
