I'm no fish disease expert but I will say be sure to diagnose it correctly. I believe there are other diseases that can look like Ick but are actually bacterial not a parasite. Soooo the treatment would be very different. I also suggest you take a long look at your filtration to be sure you have enough. These problems are usually caused by weak fish from bad bacteria in the water because of poor filtration. By this I mean bio, not mechanical.So in my 10 gallon I have fish along with a clown pleco with plenty of algae etc well I’ve been treating for flukes with prazipro and I just saw my clown pleco (it’s rare to see him lol) and he’s covered in ich! I have paragaurd and Ich x but prazipro says don’t mix medications please help

If I ever get Ich in my tank I will get a UV unit for sure.
They both died idk why or how soi think I’m done with plecos until I upgrade my tankIn september you mentioned moving this fish after some months to your other tank. A few weeks later he is an a 10G quarantinetank with a Rubberlip.

The tank the Clown pleco was going to be in after he was cured with ich was my 20 gal but people said it wouldn’t work out cause it’s my goldfish tank so I just kept him in the 10 gOkay but what was your old and what your new tank?
