Well one of my bulbs broke (thank you son) and I was looking into getting another. I had 2 slimpaq bulbs one was pink looking and the other in way looks blueish. The one that kinda looks blue is the one that broke. They both are T5 HO 10,000k does any one have recommendations on some bulbs for a 48'' long 2 bulb nova extreme.

Yes I am sorry but I need to up date my profile. I currently have 1 sword 1 anacharis witch has grown quick but its a little brown on the bottom and I bought 1 corkscrew and that plant has exploded. There all looking a little brown I'm thinking its the light. The bulbs where I think I should get a 6500k bulb. Do you have any recommendations

If that is the light, the blue is actinic which is for SW. If you aren't planning on switching over to Saltwater any time soon. I would just get another daylight or plant bulb. The bottom has a list of 48" bulbs compatible with your fixture-

The 12K should be the daylight bulb, your pink bulb is going to be the plant bulb.

This should be the one you have then.

The best range for plants is 5,000-10,000k. And 10,000k is best in tanks deeper than 24 inches. I am currently using pink 5,000k and white 6,700k tubes.

Hope you get your lighting worked out.
