Not sure what to do, which tank to buy?

So I finally got enough money to buy this 65 gallon tank but I looked online to check the reviews and it seams that everyone that bought the tank says it’s starts to leak in a couple months witch for obvious reasons won’t work. I looked at the marine land 75 gallon tank and but it seams that they leak too and people say the tanks are just bad quality.
There’s not a lot of places around here that sell tanks for a reasonable price I’m thinking I might have to buy from big als but I know I’m going to be spending 500 and up to get a 65 or 75 gallon tank.
I’m thinking I might just spend the money and get a fluval 30.25 gallon aquarium and stand because I know it won’t leak. I was really looking forward to getting a mid sized tank.
I really just need some suggestions for places to buy a tank in the Toronto area.

Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance

Canada is tuff. I’ve bought acrylic tanks. They are more money but the reviews are better. Mine are clear for life and I’ve bought them online. I’ve searched online for good deals. They’re out there you just have to look .

If you don't mind driving to Guelph, you could try Angelfins?
Or... AquariumDepot (Lawrence/Midland)?
Are you wanting a kit, or just the actual tank?

Do you happen to know why they leak? If its a problem with the silicone you could fairly easily redo it if you have the time. If you did I eould suggest getting 100% silicone instead of aquarium sealant- same thing, very different price.

In my experience [been in the hobby over 50 years] i've never had a new tank leak in a few years. I had a 150 gal leak after 17 years after I disturbed the silicon by going too hard with a siphon. I think your hearing about the few that fail but not the thousands that are fine.

A lot of leaks occur in fish tanks due to an unlevel stand, causing the tank to contort and twist.
I have a 120 gal. Marineland tank, bought new from Petsmart 5 yrs. Ago.
No problems & had a warranty.

I actually bought one from KijijI but sold it because the stand wasn’t in good condition and it had a good amount of scratches

Not sure about the 65 but the 75 apparently had bubbles under the silicon and it causes it to spring a leak

I’ll take a look and I’m looking for a kit

A lot of us on here have that 75 g ensemble and have had no issues so far (knocks on wood lol). Mine has been set up for 18 months. It is definitely level though.
