Not Able To Start Conversation?

So yesterday I was having a private conversation with someone and everything worked out fine. But later that evening I tried to message someone else and it said I couldn't start a conversation with the person. I tried again today and it said the same thing. It's happened on the app and the website. Is there something that the person has disabled?

The other person hasn't posted at least 50 posts

 

You can disable messages from people.

 

I figure something is either glitched or disabled cause the person has over 700 posts lol
I just messaged someone else like a week ago and it was fine then too.

When you click on someones name you should be able to send him / her a private messagr

 

You can disable messages from people.

Yep, that’s what I do. The person has likely disabled the messages. If they have profile posts enabled you can post a profile post asking if they can pm you. I wouldn’t mention or state their name here though.
