I've just been noticing that the corys tend to come out when the light is out and the later in the day. I was wondering if you guys know if corys are nocturnal?

not sure but i am having the same experience with mine. could be they feel more comfortable when the light is off or dimmer. could also be that i feed at night. who knows.

Mine were fine in the day and were somewhat active but I had a canopy of ferns at the top of my tank to dim the light. If there knew it might be because they feel safer when the lights out.

    Good morning,

Yes, it is my understanding that Cory Cats are nocturnal. :)

Strange. My Sterba corys are active during the day and sleep in their usual corner every night. I have 5 and they literally park diagonally facing the same direction in formation.
