    Hello,
I have a total of 3 platies. 2 female red wags and 1 male yellow sunburst. I have had these fish since August and haven't gotten any fry. Do all 3 fish need to be the same color scheme? Thanks.

Platies do not need to be the same color to get pregnant. You may be getting fry, but the fry get eaten before you have a chance to see them. It happens with my gups and plats all the time.

Also, are you sure of the sex?

I am certain of the sexes.

Yes, Gouramiguy, their bellies have done that a lot actually. I knew I wasn't feeding them that much....

Usually when their bellies sink back is because they "abort" the fish in a way. I dont remember what its called, but what basically happens is that the fish feels the environment is not healthy or safe for the babies so it will "suck back" the babies. Give them a couple more months, i'm sure you'll get fry soon :)
