No Eyed Goldfish

So I was at Aquatics Warehouse San Diego, and they had this really nice goldfish, lionhead I think. I was looking at it from the back, and it kept running into the wall for some reason. Then he slowly turned around to reveal he had no eyes. The thing was so that he was healthy in every other sense. He swam well, ate well, and didn't have any infections or other injuries. I wanted to give it a good home so bad, but I don't have a tank for it. Is there anything that I can do? I just wanted to make this post to hope that someone in the area will take pity on the fish and want to buy it.
