Do bettas need to have a bubble nest to spawn? Will the fry be ok?

Betta's put the eggs in the bubble nest. I am pretty sure it is essential for them to breed.

Other than that, see what other members have to say.

I've heard of some males that have built the nest post spawning. However most males usually bubble nest pretty easily... How did you condition the pair?

Like I did before with betta pro and BBS. He did have a few bubbles around the cup. See my other thread and it explains better what happened. I was just curious.

My boy never ended up building a nest but my fry seem to be doing well :)
