Nls Betta Vs Thera A

Hello! I am planning on welcoming a betta into our family in the next few months and was doing a bit of feed research. I saw a lot of people use Thera A for their betta and was wondering about the benefits vs NLS Betta. I read that Thera A has 1% higher protein content and 2% higher crude fat. It is supposedly also specialized for new fish to get rid of possible diseases and adjust, containing extra garlic. I currently have two fan tail goldfish on NLS goldfish formula and see that others use Thera A for them as well. Thank you very much!

I just use the standard NLS foods unless I have longstanding QT. I don't believe feeding Thera A is necessary long term.

Thank you!

Would using a generic NLS food after the goldfish food runs out for both be acceptable then?

Idk NLS's whole product line, but when you say generic, what comes to mind are tropical fish formulas, and those are not acceptable for goldfish. I have a fantail goldie who gets NLS goldie pellets, broken up and soaked NLS algae wafers, as well as steamed veggies that I put aside from our own meals before adding any flavorings. I also have a betta, and he gets NLS betta pellets, NLS small fish formula, and occasionally Omega One betta buffet flakes or a couple bloodworms. I've only had the betta for three months, but he is healthy and active. The goldie though, I've had him for over six years now, and he is also healthy and active. In fact, they are both quite the little beggars when it comes to food, lol. Be careful not to overfeed, because they'll always act hungry.
