Nitrate And Nitrite Problems

    935CD7D6-6861-49D0-9640-1F9FFCE6AECC.jpeg935CD7D6-6861-49D0-9640-1F9FFCE6AECC.jpeg currently having an issue with nitates and nitrites as they don’t seem to decrease even after i change water and dose them with microbe-lift special blend. Can anyone help? Tank stocking is 6 guppies and 5 neon/cardinals 2otos and 5 fire red shrimp . TIA!
    Current stats:
    Nitrate 100ppm
    Nitrite 10ppm
    Gh 16
    Kh 6
    Ph 6.4

    What is the tank size? It looks awfully small for that many fish. 6 guppies + a school of neons would be pushing it even for a 10 gallon. As for the water issues, water changes will help bring down the nitrates. But if your nitrites are that high then your cycle must have crashed.

    How long has your tank been set up for? Have you tested your tap water?
