has anyone tried nilocg C liquid fert on their low tech tank? Label says it's to have some type of bio available carbon source. I was wondering if anyone has tried it and recommend it or just use regular thrive.

I use thriveC on my tanks (lowtech). My plants are doing pretty well. I have never used regular thrive though.

I use Thrive+ and my plants are all doing great. I also use the Thrive tabs.

i've been dosing thrive c and added thrive capsule since 12/26/18 and I haven't seen any difference in plant growth. I'm starting to believe my lighting is ultra low (lower than low). I have a 55 gal. with just a few plants. once I feel comfortable with what's going on I plan on adding more but if I can't successfully grow what few I have now then what's the sense of punishing some more. Currently I'm dosing 11ml once a week. There's only a single 48" t8 bulb on my tank. I'm looking at the beamswork DA 6500k LED which states 5200 lumens to accompany the single t8.
