Welcome to my IwagumI minimalist journal! Started with the hobby around march 2017 and I really like it so far. This is my second tank, my first tank was a 6.6g but it was way to small IMO.

I really love seiryu stones but the seller gave me a lot of dragon stone. And they don't effect water parameters

Looks great! Have I seen your post about this tank over on planted tank or am I mistaken?

Also wondering what the music is in the videos, I hear it in a lot of aquascaping videos!

Thanks. Your right I'm active on several forums haha.

The music is called Moonlight Sonata from Beethoven. It's in the youtube audio library so really easy to add on your videos.

Oh boy do I feel uncultured, I think I should have recognized that haha.

Looking forward to seeing this tank progress!

First 10 green neon tetra are in. Definitely love them. They are already showing great colors after a few hours. I have no clue how to get the full aquarium with flora and fauna sharp. Any tips are welcome

I can picture java fern planted in your tank. I think that would look really nice. Have you checked out the aquascaping thread that Silister Trench has? It is really helpful and his tanks look really good too!

Love the looks of java fern but not sure if it will fit in an IwagumI style. I ordered a pot of helanthium tenellum green for an extra touch in the back.

I had to google that since I haven't heard of that plant. That will look really nice!

Amazing job on that monte Carlo for two weeks growth!
Beautiful tank!

Planting them in small clumps is the trick. Takes a lot of time but worth it!

Thanks

If your lighting, ferts, and CO2 are all in balance, algae should never be a problem.

Currently everything is fine beside some green rocks. Just try to find a good balance
