2 anubias 1 Rotala Indica, 1 Brazilian PennyWort, 1 water wisteria, 1 Dwarf Aquarium Lily) 1 hornwort. and 1 anacharis. after my water change tomorrow I will give another try at aquascaping them picture below, my ivory Mystery snail on the glass not super clear but one of my bigger mystery snail in second picture

I have the liquid fertilizers it needs just not the c02, those setups are expensive I've looked at some diy but I'm not sure if I build one would be enough for it?

Well that was only one plant I see on your list that would give you trouble. the Indica will produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide to enhance water quality in your aquarium plus you won't see her pink color without Co2.. Co2 diy will work but is everyday work and must be check on daily basis and manually turn OFF during night.. MinI Pressurized-20g-CO2-Kit should work as well

Nice assortment you got there. I am just a step above an Algae Grower. I have grown everything you have just using root tabs and liquid ferts. I have gotten some "Great" ideas from other members builds. Check out some of my threads. Have fun scaping.

thanks I'll check it out. what do you use when plants refuse to stay in the substrate? my mystery snails also knock them out at times, I've been using the metal clips they come with for now, but maybe some medium sized pebbles?

I have used the metal clips (plant weights), along with some river stones until the roots start to grow and attach. I have Bolvians, they really enjoy uprooting some of the plants especially when they are spawning or they do not like where I put them. They let me know, natures aquascapers. LOL
Good Luck!

hmm still thinking about trying the co2. it's interesting and makes me think how much more lively all of my plants would look. I've looked up all the parts I will need to make a system. will continue reading up on it. I like to diy as they use very simple chemicals and feel it might be safer then using co2 tank. thanks for the suggestions, gives me some ideas what I can work with..
