Newest Nano Tank

I got my Groupon 3 gallon Nano tank in the mail last week and decided to set it up today.

Before I even got the Nano tank, I bought some extra filter cartridge and put them in my canister filter for seeding, they will be in the canister for about 6 weeks (I'm in no rush to stock this nano tank).

This is what I did.....

Substrate: Fluval Stratum
Dirt Substrate: RedWood Compost

In this picture, I put in the Fluval Stratum and RedWood Compost in the middle of the tank and covered it more Fluval Stratum

Here is the topview of the nano tank:

I also put a syran wrap over the tank to keep the humidity in.

I am using DSM so that the HC can establish it's root system in the substrate and grow faster dry.

Plants:
HC, Crypt Lucen, Anubias Congensis, and Bacopa Madagascariensis. Normally I wouldn't use Anubias Congensis for a nano tank, but I want it to grow out of the water when it gets older.

Driftwood: Cholla Wood (from a fellow FL member).

Looking good! I love the cholla wood. Trying now to imagine how I can incorporate some into my tank.
