Newbie with plants ID please

Electrotech

Picked up these two from a LFS today and they are just labeled as assorted plants. I think the first one (out of water) is anubias but I don’t really see a rizome like you find in pictures online, and the second one is a crypt of some sort.

just want to figure out wether I’m supposed to attach to rocks or plant in substrate.

The first does look a bit like some type of narrow leaf anubius, if that is the case it should be attached to rock or wood, not placed in the substrate.

The second appears to be a type of Amazon sword, though my guess is that is emersed growth (grown out of water), and will likely dye back until it gets established. Swords should be planted in the substrate and are heavy root feeders (root tabs can help)
