I just up and decided I wanted a Betta one day and then came home with a 15 gallon and a 36 gallon tank the next day. Haha- cycled my 15 and got my Betta with live plants but still trying to figure out what I’m doing with the 36. Aquascaping, live plants or fake... I just don’t know, so I’m here. Just keep learning.

I always like live plants if you can get away with them since they help reduce nitrates plus they aren't as likely to hurt the fish as some of the plastics have been known to do. Good luck with your tanks!!

I would do live plants as well. You got more room to grow them in that 36 gal
