New type of worm found in tank (Can’t ID)

Mkm817

Hello everyone! I’ve posted quiet a few threads latley regarding some issues I’m having my tank. I was doing a water change and found a worm that I didn’t recognize, then I saw some detritus worms a few days ago, and now this new type of one. I came to the conclusion my filter was the probable cause because it was not effectively cleaning the water anymore and I had a massive algae bloom at the same time as the worms. I have a picture of the first type of worm I saw and a video (going to post a screenshot because I can’t seem to attach it) I just got of the tiny ones. Maybe rhabdocoela worms? Any help and advice on treatment would be greatly appreciated!

It's really hard to tell from the images, at least for me. Is the head arrow shaped? If so then it is planaria. They're fairly common to find, so that would be my first guess as to what it is.

If it is round on both ends it more than likely is a rhabdocoela worm. A Planeria has a triangle head on one end.

Yes, they are round on both ends. From the research I’ve been doing, rhabdocoela aren’t harmful to fish, snails and shrimp, right?

I was originally thinking that but they are round on both ends.

Nope they are harmless. Planeria is only harmful really to shrimps.
