New To Neocaridina, Quetions?

mattnmango

I have a water quality question,

first I have the apI test kit, when I look at parameters on "flip aquatics" the kh they list is "2 - 8" my scale is 0-240?
my numbers are
no2 -0
no2 - 0
ph - 7
kh - 120
gh - 180
tds - 110
would those be considered "in line"? my tap water is tds 360 so i'm guessing the aqueon shrimp and plant substrate is "lowering" the tds as I have just been using dechlorinated tap water.

any suggestions will be appreciated

Hello! By 2-8 they’re referring to dGH and dKH which refers to how many drops you used for your kit. Let’s say it took you 3 drops for the color to change then your “degree” number is 3. Also did you mean NO2 and NO3 are both 0?

One drop is approximately 17.9 ppm. So your kh is in line with what you are reading. depending on individual test kits brands that number varies a bit. I've uploaded api's conversion chart for you.
