Ok my tank is still cycling and I'm still doing 30-50% water change a day. That said I just tested the water today, again, (api master test) the latest numbers are

0, .25, 5

My Nitrite was at a 1 last weekend.

Is there anything I need to be doing at this point to help things along?

Also that 5 on the Nitrate, is it ok?? It too has been higher.

You just need to be patient for a little longer, you're nearly done

A few more days and water changes, your nitrite should hit 0

when you get 0,0,5-20, you're done.

Most fw tanks you aim for 5-20 nitrates, if it hits 40, it's time for a water change

Kinda hard to tell without knowing your previous results, but it looks like you're doing well.

OH MY GOODNESS! I am so confused. New numbers

.25, 0, 10

Ok I got my first reading of 0 on my nitrite but now the ammonia has gone from 0 to .25 well actually it's right between the two numbers.

Whats going on now?

By the way I went ahead and did a water change.

Its not that abnormal to get some fluctuations early on. Are you using a product like prime during your water changes?
