100 gallon(please read title),I'm getting it 6-18 (my birthday[!{!}]) I don't know dimensions or lighting yet the fish are listed. help me pick the corals. what lighting do I need for corals I like mushrooms and polyps and also pulsing Xenias

They should be fine as long as you don't add them all at once. Add about 2 a week, just make sure the tank has cycled before you add any of them.

I wouldnt I like the fishless cycle with salties and is your going to do some soft corals you need a min. of two to three watts per gallon of light... and I agree add things slowly, plus fire fish like to be in pairs.

ohh me me me me ohh pick me,uhhhh could I cycle with live rock, shrimp, crabs, and stuff like that!!!!!;D



P.S

we nearly became unconsios because of sticker shock so were moving down to a 55 gallon

I just cycle with all my live rock provided its new and not coverd in corals, and I don't put anything in till the tank cycles

The only live animal I use to cycle tanks are damsels. Some people use live rock or a cocktail shrimp.
