personally I like guppies as they're all different with loads of colour varieties so you can tell them apart. I quite fancy some gourami's too. the dwarfs are prob best as the others get quite big which then limits what else you can put in your tank. depends on whether you want quantity or quality! let us know what you decide...by the way...dont get too many at once or your ammonia will go through the roof! slowly but surely (says me who has ammonia probs, prob caused by too many fish too soon!!). you don't wanna stock too fast then have them all die then start again.

good luck

angels are beautiful. i've heard they can be a bit territorial, but as i've never owned one I can't really comment much on that!! something to bear in mind tho!

good to hear! as I said, i've never owned one! in the lfs they're all in a tank together, so maybe they get territorial when they get bigger. maybe a fight for female kinda thing? I don't know? or maybe its just the minority of bullies that gives them a bad name? it only takes a couple of wrong uns to tarnish the species as vicious!! i'd love one, but i'm a bit wary until I hear more positive stories about them being friendly!!

I say, get whatever you want! Those are all great fish. Since you have such a big tank you could probably get most of them...just I'm not sure about how compatible Gouramis are with Angels and Guppies.

once your angels are adults, they are carnivorous!!! I know. my dad had an awesome tank with 2 angels, and they ate EVERY SINGLE fish in there, and then 1 ate the other, and finally died!!!!

i've heard a lot about angels being territorial and will kill other fish and nip fins and generally be bullies of the tank. however i've not heard anything bad about gouramis....yet! I think they prefer to be in a male and female pair. i'm considering getting some. just waiting and researching still as not read enough about them to decide where would be best for them to go. i've heard loaches wouldnt get on with gouramis, but that's cos the loach will attach to the side of the gouramis flat body and eat holes in them . also I think with gouramis, should they try to breed, will build a bubble nest and get protective of it, so can be a little hostile to the other fish, but not sure on the level of agression??? :-\

Big angels will eat little fish like neons, but someone here (I think Isabella maybe???) told me she raised a little angel with neons and when the angel got big it still left the neons alone. I'm trying that same thing now. So far so good, but my angels aren't much bigger than the neons, so I don't think they could eat them even if they wanted to! lol

Get guppies and cory's. They are so great together and fun to watch because they both do some weird things sometimes.

Thanx again guys!!! ;D !!! All the information was so helpful !
I think I'll try some angels, guppys and gouramis, maybe some corys to help clean up ! I'll also put a few zebra danios or tetras in when I get the young angels.
Anyway, can someone fill me in on what a bubble nest is for a gourami, I've heard about it with some fish but i'm not sure exactly what they are ???. What size are they? What do they look like?etc. Do gouramis eat their babys?
Thanks again!

i've seen pics of bubble nests on here. I think its the male that makes them. he make loads of bubbles on the surface which looks like a raft. look pretty cool!
