Hi guys I have my new 120litre tank for a week now cycling I was told to use nutrfin 3 day cycle after day 4 I have a reading of 0.25ppm ammonia, 7.5 ph no nitrates or nitrites . I know its certainly not ready for fish but is it working as in cycling right ???

It is going through the cycling process, but it isn't cycled yet. You might want to consider switching from NutraFin to SeaChem Prime. Also, what you're adding is the beneficial bacteria, but the bacteria needs a food source. Do you know where the ammonia is coming from if there are no fish? Is it in your tap water? In any event, you need a food source (ammonia) for that bacteria. That source is fish when you use a product like that.

Yes, that means your cycling. Once you have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and more than 0 nitrate you are cycled! Be very careful though as the new cycle will be very delicate and you don't want to throw it into another mini cycle or entirely loose the cycle.
