New tank and Algae

    Good morning!

I currently am cycling a 10 gallon tank. I have two plants in the tank, and the nitrites are finally turning into nitrates (slowly but surely). I am having an algae problem though. My plants are coated in diatoms (if I remember the correct name haha). Regardless the plants are growing and the algae on them is slowly going away. However I now have a brown algae (possibly the same thing) on half of my rocks and a greenish algae on the sides of the tank. Is there a way for me to get rid of all the different types or should they all go away?

    Thanks

They will go away in time but you can speed up the process by scraping it off and suck it up with a turkey baster or gravel vacuum.
If you leave it, it should clear in about a month.
