"New Replies"

The option to view new replies to my posts is gone. Not sure if you guys have reported this elsewhere. I can't use a forum without that feature, it drives me Crazy! ahhhh

 

It's on the top left now, "new posts." Mike is doing a security patch (don't know if you've been getting malware screens like some of us have been getting). He said he'll have it back to normal soon though.

 

That's just new replies not new replies to my post. Very annoying idk how to find threads I was helping with.

 

The closest thing is under "Quick Links"

Yes, a little frustrating, I like that feature too

As a work around, try going to My Profile, there's a new tab called My Activity

It shows what's been going on in threads you've posted in (I think), not sure if it's limited to your friends activity or not, but none the less, it's worth a go.

Also, if you view the "New posts", you can identify the threads you've posted in by the little green arrow in the lower right corner:



Mike is working to restore all previous functionality, but this is a good little identifier in the meantime.

So instead of showing the replies to my posts it will show me replies to someone else's posts. I have to then go back and do it again and then I usually get to see replies to my posts.

 

it did that to me when I was checking someone else profile out. are you sure its every time not just when you click it when viewing someone's profile?

 

Yep, every time I do it. Even if I go from the main page to new replies it'll always send me somewhere else the first time.

 

Could that "Quick Links" be put under the "What's New?" tab too? If I click on something it automatically then puts me on that tab and then I must click on the "Fish Forum" tab again in order to get back to the "Quick Links" feature.

 

that's strange. when I can't figure something out the best thing to do is turn it off. example cable box, tv, ect... lol it usually works. try logging out of fishlore and then log back in. that is the only thing I can think of. it is working fine for me.

Which browser are you using so I can try to replicate the issue.

I added the quick links menu under the What's New tab too.

 

I am using Firefox.

 

I have the same issue as Jonathan. Sometimes it sends me to different replies than my own posts.

 

I am getting the same issue on the iPhone's Safari. The easiest way to replicate it is to go to someone else's profile or read a PM from them and then choose Replies to My Posts. This will almost always result in that person's replies and not mine. Sometimes however it is less predictable, and I get a random person's post, for example recently I got Ryan's, even though I had not done anything Ryan related that I was aware of.

 

I have that issue as well. When I am viewing certain pages such as my profile and click on my posts it sends me to other people's posts instead.

 

Still looking into this. I'm unable to get it to behave like you guys are describing. I'll keep at it though.

 

I thought you all were crazy first, but now it's happening to me too! I feel like a hacker, looking at a list of ZeeZ's posts...

 

I don't know if anybody got this issue this morning, but when I logged on, I got a teal screen. I tried logging on using firefox, google chrome, and internet explorer all getting the same result.

Now it is fine.

Well, since I joined on February 22nd (is knowing your exactly joining date a qualification? ) a day hasn't passed that I haven't logged on and made roughly 15 or so posts... (not as many at the beginning of course). Also I celebrated when my stars turned green, and I celebrate whenever I get another reputation box. I may be a poster child for FishLore addiction..

 

I'm having the same issue with New Replies To My Posts taking me to other peoples posts, too. Just started today. First it was just Rogue's, then Magoo's, and now Ken's. I've been to none of these people profiles, but I am PMing Rogue, and was when it started, so it's his fault

To fix it, I have to go to New Posts, then click on New Replies again. I'm on an iPhone, with the most recent update (which I regret doing....)
