I bought some german blue rams yesterday, a male and a female , and they coloured up nicely, but now they are just hanging out right at the back of the tank. Its 60 litres, or 15 gallons, and the temp is at 28 Celsius or 82 Fahrenheit. Any suggestions? Or should I just leave them be. They eat fine when I feed them

Rams are delicate.
How long has the tank been running ?
Any other fish ? Plants are usually a good mix with rams.
And is the aquarium mature ?

The tank has been up for a couple months, fully cycled and now has quite a few plants, the leaves of which the rams seem to shelter under. A few other fish, cardinal tetras, silvertip tetras, and a couple of guppies. They all get along with eachother

Look for eggs or a spawning site .
When rams tend to one area they have or will usually spawn there shortly or already have ..
Getting rams to spawn is easy ..Raising rams is pretty difficult ..

Sounds like they are getting ready to spawn.

I bought 2 pair recently, both pair the male keeps chasing the female. It's odd... the seller said they were both paired off in his tank, yet they just seem to be aggressive.

At first they seemed like they would spawn, hanging together, cleaning surfaces... dunno what changed
