New purchases!!

Hello everyone!! Sorry I've been in and out again. Work has been dominating my time lately ... I worked 20 hours of overtime last week. EEK!


Anywho, I went out this weekend and bought a new tank because I have been determined for the last month or two to buy a female betta. They are so beautiful and I had my eyes on one in particular. Well, when I went to the store today to get her, she was no longer there. However, I did purchase a female betta who is cream colored on her body with red fins .. Under the light there is some iridescent streaks in them. I don't have pictures yet but I will post when I do. Her tank (I think) is SO cool! I may enter it in the tank photo contest just because I have never seen anything like it!! (Yes, I'm proud!!)

Also, I bought a new snail, one that I had never heard of. One of the guys at the store breeds them so briefed me before I made my purchase. It is a leopard softball snail. He crossbred his gold softball snail with another snail and this is what they produced. I'll post pics of him too if anyone is interested. Although, I may need to post those somewhere else.

I don't have a name for my girlie yet so if anyone has any ideas, that would be great!

I am enjoying her so much. Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I do have a snail in there with her but she looks lonely. She was with another female at the store. Should I have bought them both??
