Second is a peace lily and is not an aquatic plant, third is cabomba, fourth looks like a sword of some kind. The red one I can't think of but very pretty, sorry

Thanks again Carol.. Now here is my question. Peace lillies are kept on the tops of the "Betta Planter" does that mean that just the roots can be submerged then??
Betta Planter == When they take a vase and fill the bottom with water and betta and at the top place a lilly and leave the roots and such dangling in the water.

Does anyone know??

Yep I've seen those also.
My experience was that it would live for awhile. Just plain water probably doesn't have enough nutrients for it. I have one in a pot growing in dirt.

the roots can be submerged, but you'll need to add fertilizer if you want the plant to grow well. a betta isn't a good way of fertilizing unless there's a reasonably sized air gap (and a sufficiently sized tank - not a vase). i've also got some planted in dirt.

Oh I am not going to put a poor betta in there was just wondering.. I am going to do an experiment with the plant and see how long I can keep it going.. was just wondering if anyone else might have done it before.. Putting a betta in there with no heat or anything is mean...
NOw on the anacharis... why are my leaves turning brown, they have light and flourite in the soil am I missing something here??

Is it all of the leaves? Most plants will lose a few leaves when their environment is changed. are you talking about your second pic? think it's cabomba -

Nope the ones in the 4th pic in front of the sword. It is placed by the front of the tank. I have one on each side of the tank. It is starting at the bottom and working it's way up the plants. Will try to get a pic if I can.. What causes this??

Usually if they don't get enough light to the bottom they will lose their leaves. Are they planted in a bunch? If so try separating them.

I think their just planted too closely together. Might try seperating them.
