New Oranda Feeding Help

I fed him 7 small size omega one pellets and then at noon I he had 1 little stick of broccolI and now after noon I fed him 7 more small size omega one pellets. So Could I add more broccolI or peas now? Hes on day 2 of the 14 days of TSS++ I heard not to over feed or something. But I'm scared of under feeding him and him dieing because of me not feeding him enough. Can anyone tell me more about this from experience? Thanks

--Ive noticed my filter intake tube and it has some scales (about 2-3) attached to it. Is this a bad sign?

Due to goldfish not having stomachs, they have to constantly eat to live. You can feed the fish small meals through out the day. Just make sure you feed them only what they can eat in a few minutes.
Technically those pellets is all she needs so treat the broccolI and peas like treats. I like to give my fish and turtle a 3 inch sheet of omega algae daily so I can round off their diet without filling them up too much.

Goldfish can be fed multiple times a day, but their size can help determine how much to feed each time.

 

hes about 3 1/2 - 4 inches with tail or more
