New Nls Naturox Formula Vs Northfin - Thoughts?

Hey everyone! I've been following along with a recent thread about what everyone feeds their Betta's, and was concerned with the info about the preservatives in the Omega One food causing tumors and such. I had already been planning to switch foods, but now I am not going to wait till I run out, I plan to throw out what I have left.

Anyways, so I have been debating between the Northfin Betta Bits, and New Life Spectrum. Thing is, NLS recently changed their formula, so its hard to find info about the new formula, esp. people's experience with it. Below I am posting all the info I found for each. If anyone had thoughts on which they think is better that would be great.

If you have experience with the new NLS Naturox formula, let me know please!

Don't know if anyone cares, but I decided to go with the Northfin, see how my Bettas like it. I can say that they LOVE it. Seem to have a much easier time eating it as well, due to its smaller size than the Omega One pellets I was feeding. Also, the pellets actually do float for a good amount of time, and then when they start to sink it is fairly slow so plenty of time for your Betta to see and grab it if they haven't already. I am def. happy with them so far.

Lol, thanks. Nobody seemed to be willing to contribute an opinion one way or the other, so I figured I might as well at least throw my own experience out there.

It's good to have a conclusion.
I guess there's lots of choice and you really needed someone with experience of both those products.
I get on well with my granules too, sounds like they're quite similar to yours

Yeah, I was hoping to find someone who had tried both, but I guess no such luck. I feed the fluval bug bites as well, which they quite like.

Let me know how they get on with it after a few weeks, if they still prefer the northfin over bugbites then I might have to get some!

Oh, they like the bug bites probably as much. It was the Omega One pellets that I was replacing.
