New Neon Tetra

Hey everyone,
My Neons have been in my tank for a total of 24 hours and I went to feed them for the first time yesterday since I bought them, and they won’t eat anything! Is this typical with them being new to the tank? They just sat together in a school (I have 6) and they just kind of watched the food go right past them. Is this because they are still getting established with the tank? Too nervous? I’m assuming they are but wanted to clarify. Thank you all in advance!

A lot of fish don't necessarily eat right away. So yeah, it is pretty normal. New tank, new surroundings etc...takes a bit getting used to. Plus there is no guarantee they recognize what you are feeding right away as well.
