I and we (my wife and I) used to have a variety of aquariums (freshwater planted with tropical and rift lake africans) including several breeding tanks for mostly cichlids. I really liked watching Kribs defend about half a 55 from the rest of the fish when they bred in the community tank. They succeeded except when we had pimodellas that always seemed to get the babies within several days of them swimming freely. LIfe expectancy about 5 years but these pimodellas wouldn't die for 7+ years! We kept waiting so the babies would survive! Also bred some angels and rift lake cichlids; the mouth breeding was pretty cool.

We also do a lot of plants, mostly anubias because they grow slowly but are really pretty and hardy. Renting so limited to tiny (20 gal) aquariums for now. The 75 and 90 will remain in storage until we move.

More to come...

Welcome to Fishlore and welcome back to the hobby! Are any of your 20g set up and if so what are you currently stocking?
