New Life Spectrum pellet size

I have been trying to decide on a fish food between Omega One Super Color Flakes & New Life Spectrum Pellets.

I think I may have decided on New Life Spectrum Pellets, however I'm in a bit of confusion on pellet size.

I will eventually be adding Cardinal Tetra (6-8) & Honey Dwarf Gourami (2) to my tank, so I assume I will need to buy the 0.5mm for the Cardinal Tertras sake? If I'm correct in thinking, the Gourami will be able to consume the 1mm pellets anyway?

So I guess 0.5mm to suit all?

 

I coldnt find .5mm in my LFS only the 1mm, I have platys, barbs and a gourami.....I just crush them up cuz even for the gourami 1mm is too big.

Worst case scenario, just crush the pellets

 

I feed both the Omega One flakes and NLS pellets (1mm) which I crush. Since you have cardinal tetras, I think the .5mm would be better for them and your other fish will be able to consume them just as easily.

 

I don't think you can buy them in a LFS in the UK.

They're are available on eBay though... and in 0.5mm



I just didn't want to go ahead and make the mistake of buying the wrong ones...

The 0.5mm ones it is. I don't even think you can get Omega One flakes in a LFS in the UK either

I also noticed there is a version of these pellets called Thera A that contains Garlic, hmm...

 

Yes, get those. Good for their immune system.
