New Lfs Opening

Hey guys, there is a new LFS opening tomorrow in a closeby town. I’m pretty tempted to give it a look. I’ve heard that local stores are usually better than big chains, like Walmart and Petco and such. Can anyone attest?

I wish one would open here and give PetSmart some competition. I'm really not sure how popular aquariums are here though.

 

I got lucky, a store opened in my town about a year ago to compete with the big stores, so far I have got 5 BosemanI Rainbowfish, 5 Albino Cories, 12 Bloodfin Tetras, and 5 pepper Cories. All the fish have been healthy with no loses. The staff is great and the prices are competitive with the big stores. As a matter of fact the Rainbowfish where several dollars cheaper then the box stores.
