New Guppies!!!

I cycled my 29-gallon tank waited 24 hours to make sure parameters held up. I have 4 new fancy guppies (all males) they are AWESOME!!! Water parameters seem to be holding steady, I test them every morning. I have a couple of questions now
I was going to do a 15-25% WC on Friday and add the stress coat (dechlorinates as well). Is this plenty for the first water change and a good schedule for it?
Also, we were going to get new fish next week to add (either tetras or platys we haven't decided yet), is this to soon?

Sounds good! You should be okay adding a few more fish. Can you post some pictures? Is sounds great.

we also plan on changing a lot of the fake plants into real ones...eventually my toddler wants to put in an african dwarf frog in there and plastic plants are no good for them

Cute little guppies! Even the name is cute.

They are so little and hard to capture with a photo, they all swam to the other end of the tank when I shot it

Nice tank!
The water change depends on the parameters. For the first month or two I'd recommend doing 30% water changes twice a week unless you have any ammonia or nitrite or you have over 20ppm nitrate.

I definitely wouldn't add an african dwarf frog. They do not do well with fish. They are also social so don't keep one alone. You could setup a 10 gallon tank and have 3 or 4 though.

BottomDweller I'm confused because all the research I've done suggests they do well in community tanks with non-aggressive fish such as guppies, cardinal tetras, and Dwarf gouramis. Can I ask why you think otherwise? I'm honestly curious

BottomDweller never mind I just usedand found out that given the opportunity they will eat my fish

African clawed frogs will eat fish, african dwarf frogs won't.

Afican dwarf frogs have poor eyesight and struggle to find their food before the fish eat it. They also need be fed frozen foods which guppies love and will eat before the frogs. They frequently starve in community tanks. 29 gallons is also a little tall imo. The frogs are not strong swimers and may struggle to get to the surface, a 20 long is the highest I'd put them in.

I really want a bottom dweller but with the substrate I have I'm worried about getting loaches or corys
