3rd pic is (not a butterfly) moorish idol. (bannerfish which looks closely to a moorish is a butterfly though)

I know MI's are really hard to take care, but I think I'm able to do it. My goal is atleast a year or two.

Thanks Shawnie and lorabell.

The butterflies are already showing good signs and are swimming everywhere. The MI is probably still adjusting to its new home.

Here's a list of foods I'll try with the MI
Mysis shrimp
Formula one flakes
Formula two frizen
Some sort of other flake
Reef Spectrum Pellets
Nori
acrti pods

If all else fails, I'll combine all of them into a paste with some clams and frezze thim with the clam shell. Thank I'll just toss in one of the shells.

The moorish is better . He's not staying in the corner and is now moving around the island overflow. Circling non stop and on and on

Thanks Whisper.

Update:
I just feed them just now. Turned off all of the powerheads and threw in some Ref Nutriotion Formula one flakes and this other reef nutrition flake. Butterflies are eating it (a little slow for the aurigia) and the idol is obesrving it. I think that's a better sign than ignoring it.

Tomorrow, I'll try giving them some mysis (forzen) and I'll put some pellets in a dish for breakfast ;D

I think he'll (idol) be able to live

Ph-8.2
Ammonia-0
Nitrate-0
Phosphate-0
Kh-9
Calcium-375
Mg-did not test
Salinity-1.024

I hate full water test...takes too much time

Thanks bubble and kent.

The Moorish Idol still isn't eating. The Aurigia is eating better than yesterday and is always playing in and out of the rocks

I already created a special breakfast tomorrow for the idol. Since I couldn't feed him any of the formula one, formula two, the green flake thing, nori, mysis, reef pectrum pellets, and even arcti-pods, I used a mortar and that paste thing and mush um all up. Even gave it a little baby oysters>

I than found a dead brain coral skeleton and press the nasty smelling fish food paste thing into the tiny holes and freeze them. I hope he likes the effort I put in. Now my hand smells like fish food. lol

He didn't ate in the morning, but he picked at the food like 6 or 7 times tonight ;D

I think I've just regained my confidence

Thanks..
I'm starting to wonder if this fish is really worth all the hastle.

He didn't eat this morning and I'm putting tons of food in the brain coral skeleton. My sump broke so now my ASM is down because I couoldn't fit in a backup sump and I my nautilus is kind of broken because there's a chip in one of the tubes so bubbles comes out. I'm also starting to see GHA on my rocks:-\

I'll probably cut down a little bit on the metal halides.

Thanks morgan and algae eater.

I'm not as worried as before about him not eating since he did ate a little last night. I'm woried about waterparameters. Lastweek, all nitrates, phosphates, was 0. I think when I test again tonight, it should be pretty high.
