New Discus To the Family

Well I went into my local fish store like I always do once a month to get supply for all my tanks and fish, So I was looking around, and something told me to look at the lower level of the fish tank setup and I always notice that there is a tank all the way at the bottom with tons of plants and I always thought it was just a tank with plants but then I notice a sticker at top of the tank saying discus, well one said red snake skin discus $59.99 and same for the blue cobalt, I was like yea, because I thought there display tank when you walk in was the only discus in the store and was not for sale but they had some for sale in a tank that you cannot see nothing unless you get on your knees and look very hard and good for the fish, anyways long story short there was three of them that I notice. I picked up the Red Snake skin, if that's what it is. So getting to my question I wanted to know if that is decent price for a 2.5 to 3.5 size healthy discus, now he joins the five silver dollar size discus and they all seem to get along.
