New crowntail betta

EVERYBODY VOTE FOR ADDAI TO WIN THE "FISH OF THE MONTH" TITLE!!!!


found some rid-fungus at my lfs for $6...started him on that tonight
also bought some color enhancing & immune building gels for both of the bettas

after three treatments w/ rid-fungus, addai's eye is almost completely better...the growth is about 1/4 of its original size

I can barely see the growth today...it took me 10 minutes of comparing his eyes to decide it was still there...maybe by tues I can stop treatment

Recently my 2 year old VT passed on and I had been looking for a new betta for a while. I finally found one, and here he is!

I'm hoping you guys can help me name him. I'm not so much into regular names like, Joe, Ralf, Alex, human names etc. I've had names in the past like Punka and Tinker so something cute and catchy. ^^

He's living in a 5 gallon tank. Planning on changing the rocks for a prettier color soon.








I've never had one with a pinkish body before, so I'm pretty happy with him. In the right light, its a GORGEOUS pastel pink/purple color.

 

Oh, he's gorgeous! I'm not very good at naming fish. Maybe if you tell us a little about him, that might help.

Um... I like Russian names alot, like Romanovich or something lol

He is very cocky and stand-offish. If you walk by the tank, he'll swim right up to the side and follow you. Quite the show-off as well! He was all too willing to flare for me when I was snapping some pics.

Romanovich... Maybe Roma? Does that sound a bit too feminine?

Off subject...Sorry..Pink tonight I was looking at Mbuna setups on youtube and thought of you because they had Pinkfloyd as background music..It went perfect.

Archimedes is a good name for a fish I'd say. Or if you like the Russian names Rasputin would work your fish seems to be cocky enough to pull it off. Or Boris, I like Boris because it's a song by the Melvins and a Japanese Sludge/Psychedelic band named after the song.
