New Cory, Please Help

I got 2 Corys from petsmart a few days ago. In my tank I have those as well as one Cory that I got about a month ago (whose buddies passed away) And 5 guppies, 3 of which I got about a month ago, and 2 I’ve had for ~6 months.

When I bought the Corys, one of them was missing his whiskers All of the Corys seem to be doing great, they are playing in the bubble wall together, scavenging, etc.

My only concern with my Corys is the one without whiskers. He has more trouble finding food than the other two, but usually eventually finds and eats his food. Do you think his whiskers will grow back out? And will he be okay until they do?

My second concern with my whiskerless Cory is that his pupils seem dilated, more so than the other two. Is this serious, or am I just looking in to it more than I need to? Is there any reason that he could have dilated eyes having to do with missing his whiskers?

I have a 10 gallon filtered, cycled, and heated tank with black sand as a substrate, one live plant and several other fake plants.

My water parameters are perfect, 0ppm ammonia, 0ppm nitrite, ~10ppm nitrate

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds!
I need help from someone who is more experienced with Corys than I am

Here is a picture. It’s not the best quality, but as good as I can get

I have had Cory catfish for years! Around half of the Cory’s I get from the pet store are missing whiskers, almost all of them grow back, I have one that was missing like an actual piece of its mouth when I got him. so his whiskers never grew back, but he does just fine without them! Do not worry! With great water conditions, he should grow them back in no time, he will be fine without them for the time being.

One of my false juliI cory has no whiskers (barbels) and hasn't had ever since I got him almost 3 years ago. He grazes with all his buddies and is just as healthy as they are. Like us, they will find a way despite not being perfect.

Do you guys have any ideas about the slightly dilated pupils?

Sorry, I don't. I can't say that I have ever noticed anything like that but then I've not been looking for it. I do know though when we think we have a problem with one of our fish we tend to see things we think might be a problem when it really isn't. I know I am guilty of doing it. Hopefully it is just normal for this little guy.

He might just have smaller pupils. My Cory’s all have a variety of different eye sizes. Baby Cory’s have smaller pupils and eyes. It can also change depending on the lighting. He should be great in your set up!
