I have a new 50 gallon tank that I've been cycling for a few weeks now, I have it totally aquascaped as i want it and how i believe the fish will as well. Anyway im relatively new to African cichlids and would like to know a good combo of fish that wouldn't be too aggressive and would look beautiful as well thanks for you suggestions

I'd say start with some yellow labs or a few Kribs. They are both fairly docile as far as cichlids go. Usually when I stock my 55g I try to buy at least 3 at a time when I stock (after the tank was cycled). Helps when you get a good sized community. They won't all pick on and stress out just one fish.

WADR to Motodude, on no account should Yellow labs and Kribensis be housed in the same tank.

Really? I have 3 Kribs and a couple yellow labs in my 55g, among quite a few others. They get all get along fine nobody is stressed out or getting tore up.
