New cheap led lights.

I was at petsmart yesterday and noticed new aqueon led lighting. the price was very cheap but I think it only came with one lighting strip. you could add two more but had to buy individually. I can't remember how much everything cost but I remember it was really cheap. just want to let everyone know if they didnt.

I would call first as I don't see them on there website yet. they might not have them at every store. here is a video I found on youtube.

would those be enough in a planted tank? (say 55G, 48 long by 18" deep, planted with mostly low light plants)

 

I think it might work with java fern and anubias but not 100%. if you want plants I would stick with something else. led's are not very good for plants. I would stick to a standard hood or here are some others I have on a 15 gallon planted tank.
