New cat, new friend

this happens 5min ago. I was getting my cat smokey, she's siamiese, back in the house cause its night she's 3 pounds(we can't get her to gain weight , we feede her 2 wet foods morning and night and have dry out constantly) we got here parly declawed so I really don't like her being outside espicaly since I lost a couple kittens to dogs, owls, and a snake once. When I brought her in I hurd another meow. Smokes talkative but it wasn't her. I put her in and looked again out side. It was a little blue kitten maybe a year old(I know not a kitten but still) she was a sweet heart. She came up to the door then hid under the car when I came out. I didn't want to get hurt so I moved slowly. I blinked slowely( sign of trust to cats) and when she came up to me I let her sniff me before anything. Next I knew she was nuged up on me and eating the attention. She is probably a neabors so I didn't let her in. I was heading in and smokey got out again. She didn't stay for long cause she was scared. The blue cat I named ashe didn't react, just held still. I let smokey back in. And gave ashe a last head scratch.(I looked she don't got flees, I still washed my hands once I got in just in case) she had a couple scabs on her chin but not anything too concerning. No this is not the first time I made fast friends with a mystery cat, and I always name them. At my old house there was little hiter( she had a mushtach and never shared food) there were 2 more but I forgot. Lit hit had kits, story for another day. There was also Rowen at my dads house didn't feed him, he clearly had a home, but still hanged around wile I raked. All went away with time. I just wanted to share this story. Maybe we got a new cat. Oreo literly just walked in the house and never left. Lucky my Nana liked her and papa cause she hunted really well.

Sounds a bit like my old cat that passed a couple years ago. She was friends with all of our neighbors. She would go visit often and soak up the attention, tell some sob stories and several even fed her, too!

Ashe came back! She's super friendly, but smoky is super scared. The photos bluery cause she's hyper. Hard to see but she's got pretty green eyes

Earlier on in the week my mum got a message from neighbours saying our cat was trying to enter their house through the back door. He’s crazy, and no descriptive word does justice to just how crazy he really is. I’m convinced that two neighbouring households are scared of him. :smug: He looks a little like yours.

How cute!!

Totally unrelated but I would look into the process of de-clawing before getting your kitty de-clawed the rest if the way. They actually cut part of the cats toes off in the procedure. It is the same as cutting of your fingers off to the first knuckles.
