New Bubble Tip Anemone

I received my "ultra rose tip rainbow bubble anemone" friday and now my Marron clown has embraced it. No tricks needed only time, really happy to see it happen plus it's my first anemone.

 

Super sweet nem! Glad to see the clown already is hosting, sometimes it can be a bit tricky. How old is your tank? Just curious as it looks like you've got some great corraline growth. Hopefully it grows and thrives for you and splits!

 

Thanks, tank is over a year old. The rock is real reef rock which comes already purple, the trick is to never to scrub them. The back wall is all time with the corraline growth.

Sounds great. Think you should start a build thread for us. I'd love to see what your tanks like, e.g. lighting, FOWLR or reef, flow, ect. Always love getting what works for differnet people and seeing if I can apply to my own tanks.

If I remember the anemone and clown pairing charts correctly, either Maroon or Tomato clowns will host bubble tip anemones naturally, as that's their natural setting in the wild. The challenging clowns getting to host are ocellaris or percula clowns.
