That’s so cool! I would love to do breeding projects just like those. Maybe when I’m an adult I can! Currently as a beginner my favorite thing to do is mix a bunch of different platy designs (blues, reds, wags, Mickeys, tuxedos, etc.) and breed them. I love seeing the designs as they are really cool. I would love to in the future breed cories, loaches, furcata rainbows, clownfish, livebearers, tiger barbs, bettas, angels, and cichlids.

Definitely have some tanks multitasking as long as they don't bug each other.

Quite the assortment of fish. I also focus on breeding if I'm keeping fish, I figure if they are breeding then they're doing what they were born to do whether in the wild or in my tanks.

I got the Tropheus bug a year or so ago and now have 3 groups. 35 Duboisi, 14 Red Rainbows and 20 Bulu Points, each in their own tanks, 100, 125 and 180.

I've had great success with the Duboisi, the Reds I just got a female holding after 9 months and aside from an initial batch from the bulus, nothing for six months.

Breeding fish, rewarding and frustrating at the same time but definitely worth the trouble.

Oh my, how do you find time for all of that? It must be a lot of tanks and quite a bit of work. Pics please... whenever you have the time! ;)

Which are your favorites at the moment?

Haha well it is summer and I'm a teacher so that helps tremendously! Yes, I will post many pictures in the coming weeks. Currently having our service line fixed so they've been jack hammering the basement for 2 days. I have 45 tanks, and it's on auto water changes so that helps a lot. I have to find a consistent place to sell extra fish at stores and such so I'm not overloaded with stock and no where to go. I sell some on here, my website, Aquabid, etc, but sometimes they produce faster than people can afford.

Yes it is super rewarding and frustrating at the same time. Luckily there's more positives than negatives currently!

Yep, that's one of the issues I had. I tried selling online but... too much extra work.
Good Luck!

I love the plecos, but I'm super interested in the angels, cherry barbs, and jewel cichlids.
