New Biological bacterium review, initial opening, I am in love with it...

Ok, I purchased this from amazon and it finally came in the mail. It is paper light but the number of holes and sizes in it makes me already know this is going to be a dynamite biological, nitrifying and denitrifying medium. I wish I got this sooner. I will put up pictures in just a minute!!! and I will update when I put it into my aquarium.

hahaha, I guess it looks similar. It is a large very porous substance which most biological media tends to have so much center to it, meaning there is more substance and less space for the bacteria. This seems to be like 3/4 space and 1/4 structure and is definitely going to allow for good biological medium, I am hopeful that with this it will allow for great denitrification, too. I am very happy with my purchase. I have never seen any material like it before.

 

My only issue is water flow. Needs good airation for nitrogen process

 

I think it will allow some spaces for denitrification too, I put it in one of my trays in my hydor 600, overall I wish I got it sooner. It seems like you don't have to use nearly as much of it because it is so porous compared to other substances. I will keep you updated on how well it works!
