New Betta...is This Normal?

HI there! I made an account for this... Any help would be greatly appreciated! I just got a new betta fish today. (No name yet, feel free to suggest one, it's a he) and he is a beautiful red rose tail. He has white metallic scales that shine different colors when light hits them, and some black on his body and near his tail. I've never had a betta like him before, and I think this is normal, but wanted to check with the people here, just to make sure it's not a fungus and he is all healthy. Attached pics below.
