New bala sharks acting strange.

Balamama

We have a 100gallon tank and we had 2 7 year old balas but they passed away a few weeks ago. The fish shop here helped us out and said our tanks ph was really low and the acid levels really high. I have been checking tank daily and it leveled out for over a week so we went ahead and got two young bala fish and a torpedo. My levels are good.
Nitrates 20
Ammonia 0
Nitrogen 0
Ph. 7.2
I do a 10 to 25% water Change once a week. Only 10% lately because no fish. We have had these guys less than 24hrs and they are acting strange. I attached a video but they are swimming head up for a few seconds then they straighten out. They have also been sticking to one area and swimming up and down.
I turned off there light to hopefully help them. Maybe stressed from move. What do you guys think
I had my babies for 7+ years and never had a issue until they passed. I am always checking my water and keeping eye on there behaviors. I really don't want to lose any more fish.

If the new Denison Barb is eating and otherwise acting normally, then the problem might be a preexisting issue with the Balas. Check with the vendor for any ailments the in store Balas might be having.

It most likely wasn’t the ph. A stable ph is way more important than a perfect ph. And if they lived for several years in that water then that also proves my point.it’s never a bad idea to do a water change just in case though

Only the bala sharks are acting strange the other fish is eating and swimming around like a happy guy.
