New baby snail in tank?

banana8

Hello,

We have a 10 gallon freshwater fish tank. We started out with three aquatic plants, then after a month added three neon tetras and a black mystery snail. About 3 weeks ago we added two shrimp.

Today while doing a water change, I noticed a new small snail crawling on the side of the tank. Judging by the pictures of baby black mystery snails I found online, it does not look like a black mystery snail.

Does anyone know what kind of snail this is? Does it pose a threat to our tank, and if so, how can we resolve this issue?

Thank you for your help! We have gravel in our tank instead of sand... does this affect anything?
