He wasn't born yesterday (in both the literal and proverbial sense)!

Must be good at hiding.

I took everything out of my tank to clean including my plants and found the little guy.

Wonder how long ago he hatched?

A month at the very minimum, since he is both fully formed and showing his adult coloration. Probably older (2 months?). I'm not too intimately familiar with cory development, but this video may help:

Good for you. I just sucked up and accidentally dump a baby fish with my water change water. I watch as I’m dumping the water and saw it as it was sliding out. I put my hand over the drain as quickly as I could but I missed and it went down the drain.

I’ve always worried about that happening. My last WC I had an idea. I set my net up under the faucet where my water exchanger hooks to it. I used a sauce pan to prop it up. That way if I did suck up a fish, he would be in the net. If your not using a water exchanger, pour the tank water over a net.
